While the stolen vehicle was later reported abandoned near Madison and Boylston, the perpetrators returned to the scene shortly after the initial theft.Around 11:20 PM, the victim caught two male suspects exiting his garage with a stolen $1,200 vehicle battery charger. - Eastlake standoff: SPD responded to a lewd behavior call that turned into a standoff with an armed man in crisis Sunday, October 25th, in Eastlake:
At approximately 7:30p.m., officers were dispatched to a nude male masturbating in front of an apartment complex near East Lynn Street and East Louisa Street. The male gained entrance to the complex via a window and officers conducted a building search in an attempt to locate the suspect. When officers were leaving the complex a male from a second story window racked the slide to a firearm while yelling at an officer “I’ve got something for you!” Officers took cover and set up containment while requesting additional resources. Containment was established on the building, and a custody/contact team was in place on the second floor. Communication was established with the suspect and after a period of time he voluntarily left the apartment unit where he was placed in custody without incident. A search warrant was executed on the apartment and a rifle as well as handgun were taken as evidence. The suspect was booked into KCJ without incident.
