911 | Cal Anderson robbery and stabbing, 12th Ave standoff, Central District shooting

- Nagle armed robbery: Seattle Police were investigating a reported armed robbery and stabbing in Cal Anderson Park last Friday night. Police and Seattle Fire were called to the park near Nagle Place to the reported assault and robbery. Seattle Fire says it treated a 20-year-old for injuries from a stabbing in the just after 11:32 PM arrest. It is not clear if there were any arrests. The victim was reported transported to the hospital for further treatment in stable condition.
- Man stabbed by friend: Police say they arrested the suspect and rendered aid to the victim in a fight between friends that led to a stabbing last Thursday afternoon near 13th and Spring:
Officers arrived and detained the suspect, and rendered medical aid to the victim, who was stabbed/slashed once in the hand. Investigation revealed that the victim and suspect, who are friends, got into an argument, and decided to fight. As the fistfight started, suspect produced a knife, which cut the victim.
Police say the suspect was booked into King County Jail and the victim was transported by Seattle Fire for for stitches at Harborview. - Madison gun threat and stabbing: Thursday afternoon included a stabbing investigation in the 1400 block of Madison. Police say an altercation around 3 PM included the suspect making threats with a gun and the victim using a knife to defend himself. The suspect suffered a “non-life threatening” stab wound in the incident and was located by police at a nearby hospital. A K9 search for the gun was not successful.
- 12th Ave standoff: A five-hour police standoff ended with the deployment of SPD barricade “resources” and an arrest early Monday morning in the 100 block of 12th Ave. SPD says its officers
“developed probable cause for felony harassment and residential burglary” and located the suspect at a 12th Ave apartment building. “The suspect barricaded himself and was non-compliant,” SPD reports. “Resources were deployed and the suspect was successfully taken into custody after a 5-hour standoff,” the report concludes. There were no additional reported injuries in the incident. - Lake WA Blvd gunfire: Police investigated reported gunfire early morning along the shores of Lake Washington. Around 2 AM Sunday, officers responded to the area of Lake Washington Blvd and Madrona Drive for a report of gunfire. Police arrived in the area and found shell casings but no victims or property damage.
- Central District shooting: Police say a man was shot early on the. morning of Friday, July 10th near 24th and Yesler:
At 0551 hours, callers reporting shots fired at the 100 block of 24 Av S. Caller also reported seeing multiple people running from the scene and a silver sedan driving south on 24th Avenue South. Officers arrived and located multiple scenes within a block radius. Dispatch advised a victim was dropped off at HMC with a GSW to the leg. Officers interviewed two subjects that dropped off the victim who claimed the incident happened north. Officers processed scene. GVRU notified.
CHS reported here on another shooting in the area at Parnell’s Mini-mart Sunday night. There have been no announced arrests in either case.
