The Cal Anderson Park Alliance will host the 17th annual Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day on Sunday, August 16, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a daylong hunt for secondhand bargains, unique curiosities, and unexpected treasures.
Cal Anderson Park serves as the central hub for the day, hosting a record-breaking 175 registered park vendors. Meanwhile, local residents around Capitol Hill will open their yards, porches, and apartment buildings to host independent sales. Shoppers can navigate this self-guided treasure trail using aneighborhood map available at capitolhillgaragesale.org.
In addition to browsing neighborhood goods, attendees can refuel just north of the park at the weekly Capitol Hill Farmers Market which will be open during the event.
Organized by CAPA with support from Seattle Parks & Recreation, the Broadway BIA, and numerous local businesses including CHS, the long-standing tradition celebrates neighborhood connectivity, discovery, and community.
