Thanks to Todd for the tip. He wondered if the 7-Eleven at 2429 Harbor Avenue SW was closing, after noticing people carrying items out. We went over after getting his note. Nobody was there, but some empty shelves were visible from outside, as were two handwritten notes, saying the closure was for cleaning and renovating, no time frame mentioned. We checked permit files; nothing recent, though not all renovations would require one,
