Last month, we reported that the former Avalon Glassworks studio and shop at 2914 SW Avalon Way would become HoneyDew Glassworks. Tonight, proprietor Emily Chick tells WSB she’s set the date for her grand opening: Noon-6 pm Friday, November 13. “There will be live glassblowing, glass art available for purchase by several local artists, and some refreshments!” Emily enthuses – so set your calendar.
