DEVELOPMENT FOLLOWUP: City grant for North Delridge ‘affordable homeownership’ project

We reported in July on a project planned for that site in the 5000 block of Delridge Way SW, listed as Puget Park Flats, with 29 units planned for “affordable homeownership,” to be built by Habitat for Humanity. Today the city announced a new round of housing-project grants, almost $14 million, and this project is getting a share of that – we have a message out to the city to ask exactly how much. The city announcement says the 29 units will include 17 two-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units. The site has been vacant for years but once held a triplex.
