WEEK AHEAD: Bike-park proposal, Glassyard Commons conversation on HPAC’s agenda Wednesday
Taking a customary Sunday night look at the week ahead, one of the few major non-Halloween-related events is the last 2026 meeting of HPAC, the community coalition for Highland Park, Riverview, and South Delridge. HPAC is out tonight with the official meeting preview for Wednesday (October 28), and there are two major topics: The soon-to-open Glassyard Commons RV/tiny-house site, and a proposal for a bike park in Westcrest Park. Guests will include community members advocating for the latter (apparently the same group that surfaced in 2024), and city/LIHI reps ready for a conversation about the former. Since the meeting’s at Delridge Library (5423 Delridge Way SW) as usual, it has to end at 7:45 pm to accommodate library hours, and thata means it will start at 6 pm.
