WEEK AHEAD: Shopping for a middle school? Here’s where to be Monday night
For families deciding where kids will go next school year, this is a busy season of open houses, tours, and info sessions. One of the biggest is tomorrow night (Monday, November 2) – West Seattle Middle School Information Night. 18 schools are participating – public, independent, and parochial – including some from outside West Seattle. Here’s the latest list from organizers:

Representatives from all those schools will be at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Gym (Walmesley Center) on the northeast corner of 35th SW and SW Myrtle, 6-7:15 pm Monday. It’ll start with a brief talk about helping students through the transition to middle school. Admission is free but RSVP is appreciated, here.
