CLOSURE ALERT: West Seattle Bridge inspection to close Delridge offramp Saturday
Hard for those trailer-borne illuminated signs to fully explain an alert. So after we saw one at the 99 southbound exit to the westbound bridge saying “Delridge closed 11/7,” we asked SDOT for details. The reply:
SDOT will conduct an inspection of the West Seattle Bridge on Saturday, November 7. The westbound offramp to Delridge Way SW will be closed from approximately 7:30 a.m. to noon. Single-lane closures may occur in other locations throughout the day to make room for inspection vehicles and equipment.
This will be a continuation of a routine inspection that began in late September. We plan to conduct one more inspection later this year with similar traffic impacts.
