Early morning FBI raid on Summit Ave nets suspect
A 6:30 AM FBI raid Wednesday morning on Summit Ave frazzled some nerves and apparently ended quickly with the arrest of a Colorado fugitive.
We’re still confirming details but witnesses report FBI agents and a BearCat-style vehicle were in the area of Summit and Mercer for the 6:30 AM warrant operation.
According to records from the SeaTacFederal Detention Center, Cody Nethers, 38, was taken into custody and being held at the facility following the Seattle operation.
KOMO reporter Jeremy Harris was first to report Nethers was in custody.
In May, Denver police asked the public for help in tracking down the suspect wanted for first degree assault in a 2023 shooting.
