ELECTION 2026: Alki Community Council forum to include judicial race
Your general-election ballot will likely arrive before the week’s out – so it’s almost time to vote. As mentioned here previously, much of this Thursday’s Alki Community Council meeting will be devoted to a candidate forum, and now ACC poresident Charlotte Starck says both candidates have confirmed for a District Court race they’re also spotlighting:
We’ll be hearing from candidates in three important races:
King County Council, District 8: Public safety, homelessness, transit, and county spending.
Washington State Legislature, 34th District: State laws and funding for public safety, education, housing, and transportation.
King County District Court Judge: Misdemeanor crimes, bail, sentencing, and accountability.
What matters most to you? Share your questions using our form. We’ll gather the most common themes to help shape a fair and informative forum.
All are welcome at the ACC meeting, which starts at 7 pm Thursday (October 15) at Alki UCC (6115 SW Hinds).
P.S. If you missed our coverage, last week’s West Seattle Chamber of Commerce forum also included the County Council and Legislature candidates.
