Earlier this month, we reported on the volunteer work that beautified the southeast corner of 44th and Alaska in The Junction. Today, we got the photo above from Chris Mackay of the West Seattle Junction Association, after a surprise addition to the corner – the Stars and Stripes for its century-old flagpole. “Look what a do-gooder did!” Chris said. “I have no idea who put it up, but I like it!”
