Weekend’s almost here! Here’s our list of highlights for your Friday, mostly from the WSB West Seattle Event Calendar (where you’ll find more):

FEEDBACK FOR SW LANDER ‘PEOPLE STREET’ PILOT: Now until 10 am at Freshy’s (2735 California SW), drop in and talk with SDOT reps about the plan for a “pilot” on half a block of Lander west of California.

STAY ‘N’ PLAY: Free indoor gym at Arbor Heights Community Church (4113 SW 102nd), 10 am-11:30 pm, just drop in!

SOUTH SEATTLE COLLEGE GARDEN CENTER: Fall gardening? The center has plants! Open until 3 pm on the north end of the main campus of South Seattle College (6000 16th SW; WSB sponsor).

NEED A NOTARY? Noon-2 pm, Community Notary Day at Southwest Library (9010 35th SW), preregistration not required.

VISIT THE LOG HOUSE MUSEUM: Open noon-4 pm on Fridays – the home of West Seattle’s history. (3003 61st SW)

ENGLISH CONVERSATION CIRCLE: Practice with other adult English-language learners at High Point Library (3411 SW Raymond), 12:30-2 pm.

FEEDBACK FOR 18TH SW ‘PEOPLE STREET’ PROPOSAL: Two drop-in sessions with SDOT in South Delridge today, Nacho Mama’s 2-3 pm, Mr. B’s Mead Center (9444 Delridge Way SW) 4-6 pm.

TASTING ROOM AND WINE BAR: Viscon Cellars (5910 California SW; WSB sponsor) is open 5-9 pm Fridays. Stop in to sip, and/or buy a bottle!
