After a drippy day, the sun broke through with minutes to go until the start of the Admiral Neighborhood Association-presented Trick or Treat event, and the weather has remained dry. Businesses along a mile-plus stretch, from North Admiral to South Admiral (see the map here), are offering treats:
It’s a special Halloween for Thunder Road Guitars (WSB sponsor) – first one since proprietor Frank Gross moved his music business to Admiral:
Lots of dinosaurs, superheroes, ghosts, astronauts, and unicorns to be seen, among many other costumes. And Across 35th is scheduled to start performing outside Circa (WSB sponsor) momentarily!
5:04 PM: More photos – Circa is participating in trick-or-treat too:
Across the street, Alki Bike and Board has their legendary spider in action:
More scenes:
Not all participants were businesses – the Lafayette Elementary PTA had a tent outside the school:
And the organizers of the ANA have volunteers everywhere, including crossing guards, and a table outside West Seattle Grounds (which is still open, if you’re thirsty):
Admiral Trick or Treat is only half over, continuing until 6:30 pm!
