HAPPENING NOW: Early shopping for gifts and treats at The Kenney’s holiday sale

(WSB photos)

The makers and sellers at The Kenney‘s sale span the generations! 10-year-old Charlotte‘s beaded creations (and “flower game” – try your luck for 50 cents) are right next to Vicky with beautiful wooden trucks “made by real grandparents”:

Got a baby in the family? Get a super-soft “lovie”:

Lori from Alki Hair Design, who does hair at The Kenney weekly, has aprons for adults and kids, including these for die-hard Seahawks fans:

She makes beach-glass jewelry too, with the raw material found on Alki near where she works and lives:

Lots of other creations (and plants!) at the sale, which spans multiple areas off The Kenney’s main entrance at 7125 Fauntleroy Way SW, with holiday decorations:

Don’t miss the bake sale, while the goodies last – cookies, brownies, fudge, breads, and jams:

The sale is on until 4 pm; though the sign outside says “cash only,” the sign at the cashier’s table says “cash and checks.”
