With a community countdown and ceremonial snips, Jennifer Hobbs opened the new West Seattle Junction location of her studio VivaArts tonight. That kicked off a party set to continue until after midnight tonight at 4736 California SW, with free demonstrations and classes showing off the wide-ranging offerings that VivaArts is known for – from capoeira to salsa to samba to Irish dance – here’s the schedule of what’s yet to come tonight:

Hobbs told the crowd that the new studio – which we first reported on back in February – was the fulfillment of a dream, enabling her to serve community members of all ages – from pre-K to seniors!
