Football fans The Three Hijabis are campaigning to reclaim the sport back from racists

(MY LONDON NEWS) Amna Abdullatif rarely went to football games after a few incidents left her feeling scared and unwanted, despite being from a family of football fanatics.

The 38-year-old is one of ‘The Three Hijabis’ who went viral after one tweet during the Euro 2020 quarter final game between England and Ukraine, as they sat in a bar to watch the match.

After that, the British Muslim trio went on to create a petition stemming from the treatment of three Black England players at the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy, calling for racists to be banned from football matches for life.
