HAPPENING NOW: Grand reopening and Dia de Los Muertos at The Summerland

Avian King is thrilled to have visitors in her wellness studio The Summerland on the north edge of The Junction (4411 California SW) this afternoon. She’s celebrating both a “grand reopening” and 1-year anniversary after moving from her original Admiral location. And until 5 pm, you can stop by for a Dia de Los Muertos event.

Among the services and items you’ll find are tattoos, tarot readings, tooth gems, sourdough, and ayurvedic medicine:

There’s also a community Dia de Los Muertos altar for offerings to your departed loved ones. King’s regular offerings at The Summerland include hair, yoga, and sound healing.
