Police say man dropped at Harborview after being shot in the head linked to car found at Central District school
Police are continuing to investigate after a car discovered abandoned at the Central District’s Thurgood Marshall Elementary School Wednesday morning was linked to an overnight shooting when a victim who had been shot in the head and dumped at Harborview.
Police say a driver dropped the victim before fleeing from Harborview around 2:20 AM Wednesday and reported the man was in stable condition with a single gunshot wound behind is left ear. Police say the victim refused to cooperate about where the shooting had occurred.
Police were called to the MLK Way elementary school hours later as the school day was beginning to the reported abandoned vehicle and determined it had been involved in the shooting with evidence showing the shooting scene was likely a few blocks away.
The Seattle Police Department says its detectives are investigating.
