Punk Rock Flea Market springs back with 20th anniversary season and another year on Capitol Hill

In 2006, the Seattle music scene may have been more about Band of Horses, Minus the Bear, and the Blue Scholars but some things were still pretty punk rock. Two decades after its 2006 debut, the Punk Rock Flea Market is beginning its twentieth year with another season in the converted Capitol Hill QFC turned Quality Flea Center.

This weekend will bring the first PRFM session of the year to 15th Ave E:

The Punk Rock Flea Market welcomes Spring 2026 by celebrating new beginnings at the Quality Flea Center on Capitol Hill. After two full decades of splendid chaos, the Punk Rock Flea Market is entering the prime of our life! This time we’re putting the spotlight squarely on first-time and newly emerging vendors—dozens of artists, makers, collectors, and oddballs who have never sold with PRFM before. It’s a deliberate moment of renewal: fresh voices, fresh tables, and fresh reasons to wander the aisles with wide eyes and an open mind. At the same time, nothing essential is being rebranded, sanitized, or smoothed over. This is still the Punk Rock Flea Market—loud, scrappy, accessible, and defiantly human. The music’s still pumping, the bartenders are still generous, the prices are still fair, and the treasure hunt remains gloriously unpredictable. The only difference is the emphasis on who’s getting a chance to step up, plug in, and be seen. By prioritizing new vendors, PRFM is investing in the next wave of creativity and small-scale commerce that keeps the flea market ecosystem alive and evolving. Come discover something you’ve never seen before—then stick around for everything you already love.

“The Punk Rock Flea Market’s spring 2026 edition is an invitation to explore what’s next without forgetting where we came from,” organizers say.

Along with the new energy, the PRFM will remain “all ages” and, yes, admission will remain $1. Very punk rock.

The market was started twenty years ago as a fundraiser for the Low Income Housing Institute but now operates independently. The market organizers say they continue to support LIHI with donations from proceeds. Along the way, the market has bounced around the city including stints in the Central District.

2026 marks the third year of PRFM’s residency in the converted Quality Flea Center that has also been the home of the CHASM Capitol Hill Autonomous Swap Meet as well as a random mix of events and markets.

The old grocery stands at the center of a block of temporary activity developer Hunters Capital has assembled while it waits for permits, construction crews, and financial conditions to align so it can someday demolish the block and dig in on a planned six-story development.
