Queer/Pride Festival and Capitol Hill Block Party announce 2026 lineups — and changes

There are few neighborhoods on the planet with summer plans that include acts like Keke Palmer, JT, and Honey Dijon and MUNA, Disco Lines, and Wet Leg performing and partying in its streets.

Welcome to Capitol Hill.

The lineups have been announced for the Pike/Pine’s major musical street festivals as preparations are underway for the 2026 editions of the Queer/Pride Festival and the Capitol Hill Block Party.

There are also more changes afoot. While Q/PF will remain a “three-day LGBTQIA+ music and nightlife celebration produced by the team behind Queer/Bar” in June, Capitol Hill Block Party is adding back its third day — and moving to August.

Tuesday, Block Party producers announced the event will take place a few weeks later than normal in 2026 with a restored three-day festival running Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 10th.

With the 21+ format, CHBP was able to relax a bit in 2025

CHS reported here in 2025 as CHBP producers Daydream State and the folks behind Pike/Pine institutions including the Neumos and Barboza family, Lost Lake Cafe, the Comet, and Big Mario’s streamlined the long-running event, tightening the festival schedule to two days and changing the format of the party to a 21+ event allowing the festival’s layout and logistics to be simplified with less fencing and fewer lines.

For 2026, the 21+ change is sticking but the festival is going back to its three-day format.

We’ve asked the production folks for more information about the changes.

In addition to big names like Wet Leg, 2026 smaller up and comers will also draw strong CHBP crowds including acts like Parcels, Magdalena Bay, a Tinashe DJ set, Trixie Mattel, Zack Fox, and Amber Mark.

Meanwhile, June’s Queer/Pride Festival has grown to Block Party proportions. This year’s acts include headliners Keke Palmer, JT, and Honey Dijon, plus appearances by Erika Jayne (DJ Pretty Mess), Bianca Del Rio, and Hercules & Love Affair.

Held during Pride weekend June 26th through 29th, the three-day event “transforms the Pike/Pine corridor with roughly 35 main-stage performances, after-parties, and local talent showcases, drawing crowds from across the Pacific Northwest.”

“Each year, Queer/Pride Festival creates a space where our community can come together to celebrate queer artistry, visibility, and joy at the highest level,” Murf Hall, owner and executive producer of Queer/Pride Festival, said in this year’s announcement. “We’re proud to bring world-class talent to Capitol Hill while continuing to spotlight local performers and the creative spirit that makes this neighborhood so special.”

For years, CHBS was one of the few ticketed, multi-day music festivals on the planet to take place on city streets. Now Queer/Pride Festival gives the city two.

Block Party is also coming up on a major milestone. 2028 will mark the 30th edition of the festival.

Q/PF three-day passes are currently on sale for $182 including fees. Single-day tickets are not yet being sold.

Block Party tickets are also currently limited to three-day passes. Those will set you back $238.
