Yes, we do have Heroes here in west Seattle:
I am a handicapped person. I went to a store to buy needed items . At the checkout I discovered I did not have my credit card. I searched and searched my purse to no avail. I had $45.00 in cash in my pocket but the total bill was for $74.15.
I was so upset and then a man handed me a 20-dollar bill and left the store. I was still not able to pay the bill when a very nice woman told the checker to simply settle the bill with her credit card. I was astounded! There are real Heroes here in Seattle!
I do not not know this man or woman but I am very, very grateful for their help!. The store could not take my check and these two wonderful people refused to at least take my $45.00.
