Seattle Pride 2026 begins with Saturday’s Pride in the Park on Capitol Hill
With the kind of stuff neighbors are up around Seattle parks, here’s three cheers for the neighbors of Volunteer Park where Saturday will bring the start of Seattle’s 2026 Pride festivities.
This year’s Pride in the Park will continue the growth of the annual event from its roots as a family picnic into a day of music and dancing in a full LGBTQIA2S+ celebration.
“Seattle Pride in the Park isn’t just another festival—it’s a full-on experience,” organizers say. “It’s where thousands of us come together to celebrate, dance, eat, shop, connect, and just be.”
Pride in the Park’s present-day core is a full-day schedule of local queer performers with live music, DJs, drag, and more.

In addition to dancing and hanging out on the amphitheater grass, there will be more than 80 booths featuring queer & BIPOC artists, businesses, and nonprofits, plus a roster of Seattle food trucks
The free event still includes family friendly fare including Drag Queen Storytime and a teen space “designed and hosted by youth” in a collaborative internship between Seattle’s LGBTQ Center and Seattle Pride.
