Saturday night, Seattle Parks will screen The Sheep Detectives for a community movie night in the 16th Ave park.
The movie starts when the sun sets. Sorry, Seattleites, but that means a 6:44 PM showing as fall settles in.
CHS reported here in February as officials removed the fences and ended a six-month closure of Seven Hills over “bouts of negative park activity.”
Its reopening was part of an efforts across the area’s smaller parks that have been hit hard by homelessness and street disorder.
In June, the city began installation of “recreation equipment for humans and their four-legged companions” in efforts to create a dog-friendly workout circuit across the area’s public spaces.
CHS reported here in April as the city rolled out Capitol Hill Healthy Hike sidewalk markers as the start of adding new resources to the area’s parks as officials respond to complaints about public safety concerns and encampments.
