The Tilted Table: Capitol Hill’s arcade bar and tabletop gaming hangout has been saved — and has a new name

Capitol Hill’s Raygun Lounge has been saved and is starting its new play with a new name — The Tilted Table.

In December, CHS reported on the effort led by prospective new owner River Flanary to take over the all-ages arcade bar and tabletop gaming hangout and help it recover from a layer of COVID-19 era debt.

In March with the help of a crowdfunding effort to help rescue the 2012-born venue, Flanary announced a new lease had been signed for its E Pine space.

Over the weekend, Flanary and crew reopened under the new name:

It’s been a wild journey getting here and we couldn’t be happier to be up and running. We are operating at regular hours once more so please come visit us and check out the new Pokemon and medieval madness pinball machines and our sick new bar top!!

The business dates back to 2009 when Eric and Amy Logan opened Gamma Ray Games on E Pine near Crawford. They expanded to add the Raygun Lounge arcade bar to their mix a few blocks up the Hill on E Pine in 2012. Gamma Ray and Raygun combined into one space in 2014. Now it’s The Tilted Table.

The Tilted Table will help keep Capitol Hill’s pinball and arcade scene robust with plenty of games at cores like Capitol Hill carnival bar Unicorn and its Narwhal underground sibling, and 10th Ave’s 21+ dedicated arcade bar, Time Warp.

The Tilted Table is located at 501 E Pine. Follow @thetiltedtablecaphill for updates.
