We’re still awaiting the police report but here’s what we know so far about an early-morning carjacking in which the armed robbers are reported to have set a trap. This info is via a friend of the victims and archived police radio. The carjackers put a sign on the Delridge ramp to the eastbound West Seattle Bridge, by the long-vacant house. The victim – headed for work, around 4:40 am – got out of her car to move it, and she was ambushed by three “unknown-race males, teens, wearing gaiters,” one of whom had a gun, one of whom had a knife. They took her silver Subaru Outback, described over police radio as a 2023 model, plate CVV7246. They then drove it onto the bridge. The friend says the victim is physically OK but “very shaken up.” If you have any information, or see the car, the SPD incident # is 26-330755.
