A report summary released late tonight by Seattle Police details a burglary arrest southwest of Morgan Junction this afternoon. 911 first got the call around 2 pm about a man trying to enter a residence in the 7000 block of Fauntleroy Way SW. Somebody was home; the man couldn’t get in. Police say he “wandered further down the street” and got into an empty home by kicking the back door in. There, they say, he ate food he found in the kitchen and then went into a bedroom, where officers say they “located the suspect in the bed, under covers.” They arrested him and booked him into jail. We’ll check on his status in the morning.
